This Is Our Peace 2015

We held our first annual This Is Our Peace event on August 8, 2015 at Uptown Bill's in Iowa City. The event, inspired by the 70th anniversary of the Hiroshima and Nagasaki bombings, brought together Iowa writers and poets to share their works and thoughts peace. We selected a number of entries to be included in a commemorative publication.

This book, a compilation of works by writers of all backgrounds, shares words of peace, whether they are finding peace in the beauty of nature, the union of a community, of the love of family.
